Hello All,
This last while has been very busy. I haven’t gotten much chance to write in quite a while, and – just to note – that won’t be over for a while yet. There will still be a few more months of eclectic writing. However, I think I will try to keep this blog updated.
What I realised last time is that I do not work enough to make writing a progress update worth it every week (effectively, I’m skimming off a seventh or more of my writing time to write one). That is why the blogs will either come fortnightly or monthly, with exceptions for reviews and other things I might want to write.
With that being said...
Mentor, a new project since last I wrote, stands at about 5,000/60,000 (8%)
While I haven’t touched Gold Bound in a while, it did shoot up to about 20,000/80,000 (25%) after I stopped writing updates.
A Complete History of the Apocalypse has not been touched.
The website (I have spent the better half of the week trying to set it up)
Shorts, including DON’T SCREAM FIRE IN A CROWDED THEATRE, a flash fantasy comedy which is undergoing its third draft. It will have been sent out on submission before I write next, and hopefully I’ll have news on that. I’ve been experimenting with short stories, and I think I may take a break to work on them for a while before going back to my longer pieces. While progress bars won’t be added for these pieces, I will keep you posted here.
I am currently reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane, by Neil Gaiman. I am 0/52 books through my Goodreads goal (a whopping 0%).
Another current addiction is Car Masters: Rust to Riches. I’m not a car person, but I still recommend it to everyone purely on entertainment value.
