Hello all,
This week was good for writing.
I’ve finally managed to write my way into the flow of Mentor, so that’s going well. It has sprung up to 12,648 words/60,000 (21%, though I’m writing this on Sunday). When I actually started writing this week, the daily average was just over 1300 words, which would ideally place this book to be finished in mid February. This will probably not be the case, though, unfortunately, as I will be busy for the next month or so.
DON’T SCREAM FIRE IN A CROWDED THEATRE is mostly finished, however it is not yet out on submission. I am deliberating over the ending, and I may send it back to alpha readers to get their thoughts.
ACHotA has undergone no change (8%)
Gold Bound has undergone no change (25%)
The blog is live, though there are still a few bugs to work out. My website is currently built on Google Sites, which does not inherently have a blog feature, so work on that front is a bit more complicated than for most. As it says, it will contain these writing updates, as well as analyses/reviews, and my general thoughts. Unfortunately, as there is no real infrastructure for this and I don’t know how to code, you cannot follow it. I instead suggest you follow my social media profiles, which will update to notify you of each post.
As I announced, the word count may dwindle soon. It will be updated every Monday, however I will be busy, so it might not increase by much.
I’m currently reading ‘The Frugal Wizard’s Guide to Surviving Medieval England’ by Brandon Sanderson. As I’m reading it, I’ve got a lot of thoughts, so I will probably end up writing a review. My GoodReads tally is still at 0/52 – I dnf’d Ocean at the End of the Lane, though will probably return to it soon.
I’m not currently watching any TV, but I may start watching For All Mankind. Is it worth it?
So, that’s all the news I really have. Writing updates will come out on the first and fifteenth of every month, though may not be accurate to the day (for instance this is accurate to Sunday instead of Monday.)
Take care, and have a good rest of your January,
Daniel
Hello All,
This last while has been very busy. I haven’t gotten much chance to write in quite a while, and – just to note – that won’t be over for a while yet. There will still be a few more months of eclectic writing. However, I think I will try to keep this blog...
